EASY NAVIGATION: All property listings were to be classified from a buyer point of view, further all listings had to be designed in such a way that the buyer could view many listings on a single page still get a fair idea of a single listing without having to go through the detailed description of that listing. Images of the property could never be replaced with the textual description of the property hence we had to develop an option for buyer to easily navigate through the various images of the property and to make this process quick we had to use thumbnails images which the buyer could first look at and decide whether to load the larger images and have closer look.

STAYING UP TO DATE: Information is the key, taking this forward we decided to include a newsletter module which could communicate the latest listings to prospect buyer. A News section in the site also communicated to Prospect Buyers the latest happening in the property marketing further building confidence between the Client and the site users.

ATTRACTIVE DISPLAY: First impressions more often then not end up being the last impression hence everyone out there trying to sell something take extra effort in displaying their products in the most beautiful manner possible. We had to include a Photo Gallery option which displayed photographs in an enticing manner but was still practical to use on a site like this one.

ALL-INCLUSIVE LISTING: Everyone trying to sell you something would like you to know all they have to offer, but the actual skill lies in telling it and still not being to pushy about it, we planned on achieving the same. As mentioned earlier the description of the property could never replace the actual photographs of the property here we had to provide an option to upload as many images as possible still not create an ugly clutter of thumbnails on the web page.

VALUE FOR MONEY: The Client was a Big Company, but not an MNC or a Million Dollar Firm, they were an honest firm trying to provide a better service to their existing market and in the process tap the hidden potential in this market. So we had to deliver a Cost Effective Ecommerce Solution to them that did not cost the world to maintain. We decided to give the Client a Backend section to their website from where they could easily add listings, news items and send newsletters among others. Also to save on cost we used open source technologies.

EASY TO USE: The Client is an Agency dealing in Real Estates and it is obvious that they are not Web Designer or Web Programmers; hence we had to keep everything simple for them from adding listings to adding news items. We decided to include a WYSIWYG html Editor which can be used by anyone with easy, to design Newsletters and make listings and news items look more attractive.
